Introducing Bion3D: one connected workflow for digital prosthetics

Patient data, 3D anatomy, socket design and manufacturing — now in a single platform built around the prosthetist.

Prosthetic care has always depended on the skill of the prosthetist. What has changed is the toolset. Bion3D brings the whole journey — from the first assessment to a production-ready socket — into one connected digital workflow.

What Bion3D does

  • Assess — capture the clinical information and measurements needed for design.
  • Scan — bring a 3D scan of the residual limb into the platform.
  • Design and modify — build the socket around the patient’s anatomy, with full control over reductions, reliefs, trim lines and alignment.
  • Validate and manufacture — review the design and export it for 3D printing or other production methods.

Built to support clinical judgement

Digital design should never mean giving up clinical freedom. Every tool in Bion3D is designed to support the expertise of the prosthetist rather than replace it. Changes are visible immediately in 3D, and every version of a design is kept — so iteration becomes part of the process instead of an expensive physical exercise.

What’s next

We will share new features and releases here on the blog. If you would like to see the platform in action, request a demo and we will arrange a personal walkthrough.
